Jobs

Bright Publishing is offering the perfect opportunity for an individual to take their first step into publishing within a fast-paced, creative media environment. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter to create content for the digital platforms of our photography and filmmaking magazines.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working within publishing and ideally have knowledge of both Wordpress and the main social media platforms. An interest in photography and filmmaking would be favourable, but not essential. Primary responsibilities will be working directly with the editors of the magazines to create and post daily content as well as putting together newsletters and social media posts.

Based at our offices in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, we offer flexible working hours with the option to work from home two days a week, plus a competitive salary and a host of other benefits. The successful candidate will be employed on an initial six-month contract, with the option to extend.

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please get in touch by sending a CV and covering letter explaining why you’re the ideal candidate to: recruitment@bright-publishing.com. Clearly state ‘Junior Writer’ in the subject line.

Bright Publishing is looking for an experienced copywriter to join our commercial team. We want to hear from writers who can create copy that is entertaining and informative while still communicating key commercial messaging for our broad range of B2B and B2C clients.

The ideal candidate for this fantastic opportunity will already have experience of commercial copywriting and be able to clearly demonstrate how it differs from ‘normal’ editorial copy. An ability to juggle tight deadlines without losing focus (or quality) and engage with, understand and consistently deliver for clients around the world are also essential attributes. A demonstrable knowledge of SEO and UX would also be welcome, but are not essential. This is a role for a team player, with a can-do attitude and a clear understanding of what it takes to work with commercial clients.
