Sub editor

We’re looking for a passionate and versatile full-time sub-editor, to work across our portfolio of magazines and commercial projects. You will be part of a small team, in a fast-moving multimedia environment. Reporting to the chief sub editor, topics include media technology, filmmaking, photography and lifestyle.

Candidates will already have at least one year’s sub-editorial experience, preferably in magazines, publishing or a commercial agency setting. The ability to spot a spelling error, a painstaking attention to detail, while also having the confidence to rewrite content and turn their hand to a multitude of copy tasks, is essential. From print to online, email and social, managing different projects, while remaining cool under pressure, is all part of the role. As an ever-growing publishing company, this type of opportunity is very rare.

Internship - Digital content creator

A fantastic opportunity to become a content creator for the digital platforms of our photography and filmmaking magazines. This internship will run for an initial six months with the option to extend, giving you the ideal first step into publishing within a fast-paced, creative media environment.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working within publishing and ideally have knowledge of both Wordpress and the main social media platforms. Primary responsibilities will be working directly with the editors of the magazines to create and post daily content as well as put together newsletters and social media posts. There’s no better way to learn how multimedia publishing works in 2021!
