PAID INTERNSHIP

Positions now open for Digital Publishing Interns. This exciting opportunity would see successful applicants working across our portfolio of international titles, particularly focussed on our broadcast and tech titles, Definition, Pro Moviemaker and FEED magazines.. Tasks would include creating and uploading content, creating and scheduling social media posts, and contributing to digital campaigns.

Those with an interest in, or experience with the broadcast industry – and with social media and writing skills – would be particularly suited to this role, though it is not essential as every intern will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced publishing environment. We are looking for proactive, vibrant individuals with a hunger to learn, bring their own ideas to the table, and make their mark.

Internships are paid, and available for a minimum period of 3 months. We have a position available immediately, until December following successful interview, then from March 2020 onwards.

We’re looking for writers!

As Bright Publishing expands its portfolio of magazines, we’re looking for fantastic feature writers to join our pool of freelancers. We want to make connections with experienced writers who can create engaging, intelligent and entertaining copy, work well to a brief, and pitch their own ideas for features as the new publications develop. Living locally to Cambridge would be convenient, but it’s not essential. If you’re an editorial whizz with a specialism in business and/or technology, we especially want to hear from you. Media Sales Executive

Are you a talented, confident Sales Executive looking to make your mark in the publishing world? If so, we want to hear from you. TWe are looking for a Media Sales Executive to join our team and proactively sell and manage advertising sales partnerships within our print publications and related online media. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will maximise delivery of magazine income through advertising sales activities and campaigns across printed and online assets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Working to agreed business targets.
  • Selling to existing clients.
  • Reaching out to prospective clients and gaining new business accounts.

If you are confident in selling over the phone and have proven media sales experience, then please get in touch today. The role is full time and based in Sawston, near Cambridge.
